The Word Works – Episode 1 with Thomas Fischer.
The Word Works – Episode 1 with Thomas Fischer.
If you don’t believe healing is for today, or if you don’t think you have the gift of healing, or if you don’t think all are called to heal the sick. This post is for you.
First of all, Healing is in the atonement.
Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered him stricken by God, smitten by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him,
and by his wounds we are healed. – Is 53:4-5 (NIV)
And to show that this refers to bodily healing, i will quote:
When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying:
“He Himself took our infirmities And bore our sicknesses.” – Mt 8:16-17
In fact, from Gods part, healing is a done deal, it even refers to it in past tense after Calvary.
who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed. – 1 Peter 2:24
So Gods will to heal everyone from every disease is clearly evident in scripture. If you start arguing against that, you can just as well start arguing whether or not God want’s that everyone be saved. Both are things paid for in the atonement.
Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases – Ps 103:3
And Jesus preached the Kingdom of God and demonstrated it through signs and wonders. He showed what the consequences are when God’s kingdom overthrows the kingdom of darkness.
… the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, the poor have the gospel preached to them – Luke 7:22
Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. – Matthew 6:10
And this was his message and declaration:
and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.” – Mark 1:15
Does this concern every believer?
- yes.
And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come. – Matthew 24:14
We know what Jesus did:
how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. – Acts 10:38
And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people. – Matthew 4:23
Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. – Matthew 9:35
And commanded the disciples to do the same:
And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give. – Matthew 10:7-8
Whatever city you enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you. And heal the sick there, and say to them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’ – Luke 10:8
This includes us.
teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. – Matthew 28:20
Jesus said that we should prioritize this over our daily worries.
“Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. – Matthew 6:31-33
And we do have the ability to do it.
“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. – John 14:12
And if that is not enough, this should take out any doubt:
He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked. – 1 John 2:6
This was Jesus’ calling and is also the calling upon every believer, every son and daughter of God.:
The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; – Luke 4:18
Also, since we know that all believers have the ability to lay their hands on the sick so they recover.
And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” – Mark 16:15-18
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ – Eph 1:3
Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us – Eph 3:20
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. – Phil 4:13
If you are sick and saw someone with the power of God to heal, would you want them to lay hands on you so that you would be completely well?
Then read this:
And just as you want men to do to you, you also do to them likewise. – Luk 6:31
I do not wish to make you sin consious, but in order to make my point even clearer:
Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin. – James 4:17
Therefore it is the calling upon every believer to heal the sick (and to love and cast out demons etc…) and preach the Kingdom of God and make disciples of Jesus that do the same.
Become love!
If you say: “I would more than gladly lay hands on people to see them recover as i preach the Kingdom of God and share the Good news about Jesus if they would only get healed when i do it”, then this is for you.

Watch the 12 Sessions of School of Power Evangelism and get busy!
It is time for the church of Jesus Christ to “come out of the closet!” We have the best kept secret of signs, wonders and miracles but until recently, they have been accessible only to those who might venture into one of our meetings! We believe that this is the season for Christians to demonstrate the gifts of prophecy, word of knowledge, and healing IN THE WORLD! We won’t be “arguing people into the kingdom” anymore…we will be demonstrating the love of God through revelation and power! - quote by the Power and Love team

“The idea only says what you want. Your actions says what you believe”
The Idea Of Freedom Vs. The Action from J. Konrad on Vimeo.
My recent message exposed where the average person is happy with the idea of something more than the action of it. The idea of anything great makes no demands; costs nothing; it is comforting. The action of something great requires everything, and requires one to be a doer, not a talker. I hope you are ready for change. enjoy…
